WHAT IS THIS SITE ALL ABOUT?

This site is a haven for several nonprofit projects. It is a spin-off resulting from my efforts to teach senior citizens the use of computers. Most of my teaching is done under the auspices of the Senior Center of West Seattle. If you are tired of classes that move too fast--that leave you feeling like you're not smart enough to keep up with the other students--come on over. You'll find that learning in the safe, easygoing environment that we create can be a real joy!

The Seattle Seniors Internet Group (SSIG) has plans for several learning projects. One project that should prove interesting is the "Simplified HTML for the Mildly Curious" tutorial that is being created by the SSIG. This is planned as a very simple introduction to some of the basics involved in creating web pages.
